30 Day Return Policy
No Hassle Returns
If you would like to return an item that is in like-new condition with original product tags, sanitary protection, and packaging that has not been installed, used, worn, or modified, you may return the product at your expense within 30 days of receipt. Any additional fees for shipping internationally, shipping to HI or AK, or any minimum order fees are all non-refundable. Customers who place orders online are responsible for the accuracy of their product selection and information entered. Customers who place orders by phone or chat must review their receipt for accuracy within 24 hours.
Returns with Restocking Fees
Some manufacturers charge a restocking fee or have more specific guidelines than listed above. Please refer to the manufacturer’s website to view a particular manufacturer’s return policy or you can browse our list of manufacturers with no restocking fee. If you return an item with a restocking fee, it will be deducted from the refund.
Non Returnable & Custom Made Product
We sell products from some manufacturers that are custom made or built-to-order. These items are non-returnable and non-cancellable once the order has been placed. Please refer to the product page to view a particular manufacturer’s return policy or you can browse our list of manufacturers that do not accept returns.
Step 1 – Acquire authorization and instructions
To begin the return process, please call 904-549-9740 to speak with one of our showroom staff
Quick Return Manufacturers (IRGA)
In most cases we will immediately email you a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number to return product along with a label and return instructions.
Manufacturers who are not participating in our Instant Return program must first approve the return. This process may take up to 7 business days. Once received, we will email you a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number with a label and return instructions.
Step 2 – Shipping product back
Ship the item to the warehouse. Below are the keys to a successful return:
- Good Packaging: Re-pack products for return in the original box with original packaging material and additional tags attached to merchandise. Use the return label provided or your own label and write the RGA# exactly as instructed. Do not write on the box to maintain its like-new condition. Improper labeling may result in the denial of return.
- Ship & Insure: Next, ship the product to the warehouse address provided using a carrier that will provide both a tracking number as well as a signature that the item was confirmed delivered, please do not ship USPS because they cannot provide these guarantees. If we are unable to confirm delivery of your item, this may result in the denial of a refund.
- Tracking Number: We require that returns are shipped via a carrier that will provide you with a return tracking number. If a return is shipped without a tracking number the customer will be liable if the item is lost by the carrier and no refund will be issued. Providing a tracking number will also accelerate your return process. Retain your tracking number and email it to us at email@example.com so that we can check on the progress of your return. If you have not received credit within 14 days from the date of delivery to the warehouse, please contact customer service at 904-549-9740 so that we can expedite the credit process for you.
You will have 30 days in which to return the product from the date that we receive approval from the manufacturer. After 30 days, the Return Authorization will expire and no replacements or refunds will be given.
In the event that a return becomes damaged on its way back to the return destination, we will inform you via email that the item was received damaged and hold the product for up to 30 days. It is the customer’s responsibility to file a claim with the shipping carrier and instruct us concerning what to do with the damaged product. If we have not received notification or response from you within 30 days, the item will be donated or destroyed.
Step 3 – Refunds
Once the returned item has been received and verified to have all original contents and packaging and confirmed to be free of damage, modification, or been worn, the refund credit process will begin.
Customers will be refunded via the same method in which the item was purchased or via check from Lighting Jacksonville. Refunds via check are typically issued within 14 business days of final approval.
Items returned without the proper RGA# or sent to the wrong warehouse are subject to an automatic 50% restocking fee or complete forfeiture of your refund. If credit is to be given, it will be by store credit only. Please read your return instructions carefully to avoid delays and unnecessary expenses.
Please do not request a charge back from your credit card company during the return process. Due to the time it takes to resolve charge back disputes, it is usually better to be patient and wait for the return process to run its course. If a charge back has been submitted, we will not be able to credit you for your return until the charge back mediation process has been completed. This process can take up to 180 days.
Please be advised that we cannot ship any merchandise to PO Box addresses.
Standard Ground Shipping – Small Parcel UPS and FedEx Items
Lighting Jacksonville offers FREE SHIPPING on selected items able to ship via UPS or Federal Express Ground, and during some promotional periods for orders that are $299.00 or greater. This Free Shipping Offer is applicable only to orders shipping to the 48 continental United States. Actual shipping costs will be incurred for orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico. Please call our store at 904-549-9740 for a shipping quote to these areas.
Orders less than our Free Shipping limit will incur a standard processing and handling charge of $5.00. Orders cannot be combined for the purposes of this free shipping offer.
Truck Freight – Large & Oversized Items
Large items, such as large foyer chandeliers and torchiere floor lamps, may ship via truck freight. Orders containing items that must ship via truck freight will incur a $65 surcharge for each item that must ship via freight. Items that must ship via truck freight are marked as such on the individual product pages of this site, and are determined by the manufacturers’ submitted carton dimensions and shipping weight.
If you order an item that may have freight charges, we will email you with the freight amount before we place your order. You may decide either to proceed with the order, or cancel it at no charge. If you cancel it, we will credit your method of payment for the amount of your order.
Items shipped via truck freight are delivered to curbside or driveway only. Most carries will contact you to set up a delivery time, usually a 2-4 hour appointment window during business hours. As such, it is the customer’s responsibility to provide an accurate contact phone number for the delivery address.
If you require special assistance with a Truck Freight delivery, additional services like inside delivery and lift gate are available at an additional charge. Please contact a store associate at 904-549-9740 for a quote on these services.
At the time of delivery, the driver will require that you inspect the condition of the shipment and sign the delivery receipt. Be sure to note on the receipt ANY and ALL visible damage to the packaging of your item(s). Noting the condition of the delivery is the responsibility of the customer – not the driver.
If the carrier is unable to contact the customer, the customer will then be responsible for any storage fees or freight charges back to the shipper. See our Return Policies for full details.

One of our highest priorities here at Lighting Jacksonville is to provide you with a secure online experience. It is our understanding that your privacy and security are of the highest importance and therefore have devoted a great deal of effort toward ensuring the protection of your personal information.
Please take some time to read about the steps that we have taken to protect your information and make your online transmissions safer. We also invite you to review the precautions that you can take to protect yourself further.
We hope that once you understand the measures we employ and the steps you can take to protect yourself, you’ll be confident about the security of your transactions and personal information shared with Lighting Jacksonville .
- Positive identification
Lighting Jacksonville uses Authorize.net’s secure server and secure certificate. It is registered with site identification authorities to enable your browser to confirm Authorize.net’s identity before any transmission is sent. With this technology:
* The identity of our site is automatically confirmed behind the scenes prior to the transmission of any customer information requested to complete an online order.
* Your data reaches your intended target or your browser notifies you (prior to your sending any personal information) that the potential receiving site looks suspicious and should be avoided.
- Data Encryption
If you are using a security-enabled browser (such as Microsoft® Internet Explorer version 5 or greater), the information you send us regarding your account or your purchase is encrypted, making it extremely difficult to read even if it is wrongly intercepted.
- Lighting Jacksonville utilizes industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to allow for the encryption of:
* potentially sensitive information, such as your name and address
* critically sensitive information, such as your credit card number
Help Protect Yourself :
If you use a security-enabled browser (such as Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5 or greater), paying attention to two browser features will decrease the chances for the unintended or fraudulent use of your personal information:
- Browser security settings
The security preference settings on your web browser are your first means of stopping the theft or unwanted viewing of confidential, personal information. The most popular browsers offer you the ability to receive an alert or notification if any of the following occurs or is about to occur:
* changing between secure and nonsecure transmission modes
* receiving an invalid site identification for the site to which you are about to transmit
* sending a transmission over an “open” or unsecured connection
* Check the settings of your browser security features to see all the checks that are possible and those that are currently in place.
- Browser security signals
There are two ways you can recognize the presence of security measures surrounding your data entry on a web page.
(1) The URL identifying the page will always begin with “https://” versus the normal “http://”.
(2) A security symbol to indicate operation in a mode that supports secure transmissions:
* A “closed lock” icon is present in the bottom right corner of your Microsoft Internet Explorer browser screen.
* An “unbroken key” icon appears in the lower left corner of the browser screen.
* With these security measures in place, you can also feel confident that every credit card transaction you make on our site is safe and secure.
